Japanese Garden

News | Posted by Carole on Monday 16 February 2009

It’s been such a long time since I’ve done a post, I’ve just about forgotten how to do it.

I’ve got a couple of ideas for ongoing posts but first up I wanted to show everyone the lovely cover for the Japanese edition of Garden of the Purple Dragon. It is so sweet. Look for bluish Hua. (There’s a bit more but the opened out cover wouldn’t all fit on my scanner.)

In other overseas news, there is a new UK release of the Ramose series. It is now two volumes with the first two books in one volume called Ascent to the Sun, and the second two in the other volume called Fury of the Gods. You can see the covers here.

Hey, same havn’t posted in a while, im always checking this site out though because I like the author’s Dragonkeeper series, there so magical. I love that cover its the best one ive seen, Ping, Kai, Hua and the princess look really good, but quite sad. I have never read the Ramose series, I was thinking I should because I like the author, and so I might get the new ones when there out (does anyone know when they are out?) I probably would like Ramose because like Dragonkeeper its set in the ancient past. Im so getting DragonDawn in June, its the last book in the series :(
Awesome youre writing a new book, it must be really hard thinking of a story, but a few weeks ago I had to think of a short story for school and it was quite good, I made things up as I went along and changed a lot of it. Keep us updated about the new book, cant wait to see what its about. Sorry for going on but im going now, Bye for now!

  23. Randy says:

aaawwwwwwwwwww! look at Hua and Kai! they’re so cute! and how did you get the idea for Hua to be blue and shoot fire spitballs? It was genious! and is Danzi alive on the Isle of the Blest? I was wondering if you have any thoughts on what that place it like?
    Randy,

  24. Randy says:

and what was cut off from the picture? something important or just some more of the garden?

  25. Carole says:

    Randy,
Hua super-rat was all my own invention!
When I don’t spell things out (eg what happened to Danzi?) that means I have left it up to the reader to imagine. I have not really imagined what the Isle of the Blest looks like.
There was just more garden on the Japanese cover. It wouldn’t all fit on my scanner.
