Garden of the Purple Dragon

Garden of the Purple Dragon, the sequel to Dragonkeeper, is out now in Australia. Ping thinks she is safe hiding in the shadow of Tai Shan, where she struggles to care for Kai, the baby dragon she is responsible for. But even in her remote mountain hideout, Ping’s enemies find her. Who can she trust? It is impossible to tell friend from foe. The easy road beckons. Launches for Garden of the Purple Dragon

Garden of the Purple Dragon has been well and truly launched with three different events to celebrate its publication.

Ruyton Girls School
We had a terrific event to launch Garden of the Purple Dragon at Ruyton Girls School in Melbourne.
I met Tiffany Teh who features on the cover.
Readings BookshopLots of people came to help me celebrate the launch at Readings Bookshop in Carlton where…
Nicaela did such a good job of launching the book at Ruyton that we got her to do it at Readings too.
Maryann Ballantyne from black dog books made a lovely speech at the Readings launch.
It was a wonderful surprise when Julian Bruere presented me with the original artwork of the beautiful maps at the beginning of Garden of the Purple Dragon.

New Editions

A “deluxe” edition of Dragonkeeper was released in September with a slightly different cover (more gold!) and fold-out flaps.

A new edition of Black Snake: The Daring of Ned Kelly will be out in November with a new cover design.

Overseas Editions

Dragonkeeper

The US edition of Dragonkeeper is now available in hardback format, published by Hyperion.

French, Spanish, Swedish and German versions are also available, with UK and Japanese editions out soon.

Ramose series

The Ramose series, set in ancient Egypt, is now available in French, published by Editions Milan.
